Riverside Motel - Penticton

My family and friends were super impressed when we arrived at Riverside. When you have been driving for about 7 hours and when you arrive at your destination, and everything in your room smells great, fresh, and so clean, so I get to thinking the owners of the place are thinking fierce about your welfare and wellbeing. And this is what the Riverside experience was -- multiplied four-fold. The beds were comfortable, the aircondition-equipped rooms very clean and tidy (high ceilings felt just homey), the kitchenette just right. The washroom was just upgraded (I think all of the rooms had been renovated at great cost..) If you are on a budget, travelling as a couple or as a group and expect great value for your money, inquire Riverside. Next time we are in the Okanagan Lake area -- and we are most definitely returning with my families -- we are staying again at Riverside. Also, amenities and grocery stores are closeby. Nick, thanks for making our stay -- our first in the region -- a memorable one. Kudos to your staff and more power!!

far too expensive,especially because of renovations to pool,etc. shd have been deeply discounted

The front desk person was very friendly and pleasant. The room was excellent. I booked for 2 queens and ended up with a 2 bedroom room and kitchenette all for the same price. It was the perfect set up for a family of 3. The hotel is very clean and well maintained.

It was close to the South Okanagan Events Centre and it was reasonably priced

We were greeted warmly by the owners and found our room to be quiet and comfortable. Our room was very budget friendly and had all the equipment needed so we could prepare our own meals and not have to eat out at every mealtime.

Location and price. Short walk to the beach & resturants. A little older with some renovations that upgraded the comfort. Bathroom all re done. Nice little kitchen if staying longer. Clean. Very personable and helpful front desk service. I'll be back next year.

Location near the convention center.

The room was dirty with cobwebs on walls/ceiling and the bed was hard and lumpy and very uncomfortable. There was alot of noise outside every night too. Walls seemed to be paper thin.

It was in a central location, friendly and helpful staff, good facilties / pooland all for a good price.

Nick and his staff were helpful as well as friendly. Most of the guest were returning guests. There is s very nice pool and the rooms were clean. Please bring coffee filters and coffee for your room as you have to wait until the office open to get wonderful free coffee.

I liked the fresh scent as I opened the room door and how clean it was. Very close walking distance to dinner, beach and the channel.

I have to be budget conscious at all times and when looking for reasonabley priced rooms unfortunately that usually translates into various combinations of unkept properties, unclean rooms and indifferent or rude staff. This place is a gem in all regards. The street is quiet, our room very clean, there are obvious recent improvements (such as bathroom upgrades and flooring) and the staff very friendly, generous and helpful. I really liked the laminate flooring as an alternative to carpet; Being early spring, we were not able to use the outdoor pool but the courtyard around it looked well kept and inviting. Thank you for a great stay. We will be back!
